Right now, bullying is a growing epidemic in classrooms around the country. But a rising country star is using her experience to talk to kids about the problem.
Lizzie Sider, 15, wants to teach kids the dangers of bullying through her music. She’s taking her tour “No one has the power to ruin your day” across Florida right now.
Lizzie writers all her own music and says being bullied in elementary school inspired her to write “Butterfly”.
6th grader Makayla Mcreary says she can relate to the song and message because she was bullied.
She says Lizzie’s visit taught her and other students nobody can change who you are, no matter what they do or say.
