I met Stephanie on August 14, when I performed at Jack Scott’s Writer/Artist Showcase at Hotel Indigo. Her father heard me sing and brought Stephanie down (in polka dot PJ’s and fluffy slippers) from her hotel room to meet me. We had a nice long chat. I was so inspired by Stephanie’s enthusiasm, positive outlook, and strength! And, I was touched and honored when she wrote and asked me to perform at the benefit auction that her family and friends are giving for her.
I contacted my friend, Bonner Black, and she was also happy to perform at the event! Thanks, Bonner!
