A 15-year-old emerging country artist will be stopping at two schools in Fresno as part of her California school assembly tour to promote bullying prevention.

During the two-month tour, Lizzie Sider will visit Granite Ridge Intermediate School and Rio Vista Middle School on Oct. 24. She will encourage kids to help prevent bullying as she recounts her personal journey as a young student who was teased.

Lizzie, who was named “Artist to Watch in 2013” by the Country Music Association, is collaborating with Parent Advocacy Coalition for Educational Rights’ (PACER) National Bullying Prevention Center in conjunction with October’s National Bullying Prevention Month.
